How much does a wedding DJ cost?
There are no fixed packages. Every wedding is scoped to your venue, guest count, timing and production needs, and every proposal is all-inclusive of sound, setup, travel and production. Send me your date, venue, guest count and timing and I'll come back with a written proposal.
What areas do you serve?
I'm based in New York City and play weddings across Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, the Hamptons, Montauk, Connecticut and New Jersey. I also DJ destination weddings worldwide, including Mexico, Greece, the Caribbean and Europe.
Do you DJ destination weddings?
Yes. I've played weddings in Mexico, Greece, Jamaica, Antigua, the US Virgin Islands, Paris and across the US. Travel and accommodations are built into your proposal.
Will Lucas be our DJ?
I personally DJ most of the weddings I book. I also work with a small roster of DJs I trust completely, and if your date is already taken we can talk about one of them.
Do you take requests and do-not-play lists?
Yes. We plan your must-plays, your do-not-plays and every key moment together before the wedding. On the night I take guest requests when they fit the floor.
Do you MC?
Yes, cleanly and only when it's needed. Introductions, toasts and key announcements, never cheesy and never over-talked. I let the songs breathe.
Do you provide ceremony sound and microphones?
Yes. Wireless mics for your officiant, vows and readings, plus processional and recessional music timed to the walk.
Are you insured?
Yes. I carry liability insurance and can send a Certificate of Liability Insurance to any venue that requires one.
How far in advance should we book?
Prime Saturdays often book a year or more out. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway.
Do you offer lighting?
Yes. Uplighting and dance floor lighting are available as add-ons and are discounted when bundled with DJ services.
Can you recommend a photo booth?
Yes. I recommend OutSnapped and Self Portrait Project. Friends of mine own both and they're the best in the business.
Do you DJ corporate events?
Yes. Office and holiday parties, product launches, brand activations and private dinners for clients including Adidas, Amazon Web Services and Red Bull. Every event includes sound sized to the room, a wireless mic, setup and breakdown.
What kind of music do you play?
Everything that fills a floor: disco, soul, Motown, hip hop, house, classic rock, pop and current hits, mixed live and blended across generations.
